Creating Tomorrow's Infrastructure - Self-Lay Expertise from IGL

A brief explanation of water self-lay;

As an alternative to having new mains and service connections installed by the incumbent Water Provider, house builders can arrange for the work to be carried out by qualified contractors (self-lay contractors).

With self-lay, the house builder appoints an installer who must be accredited under Lloyds Water Industry Registration Scheme (WIRS) as being competent to install mains and/or services to meet with the requirements of the Water Provider, who will also govern the installation of new apparatus via their own self-lay policy and addendum.

We at Infrastructure Gateway Limited have full WIRS accreditation for all works in England.
